Visa Applications
You can apply for a one-month visa on arrival at the airport in Siem Reap or Phnom Penh. A Tourist Visa (T-Visa) can only be extended for one more month. However, an ‘Ordinary visa’ (Employment visa or E-Visa) can be extended indefinitely. If you plan to stay and look for work after your CELTA course, we would recommend the ‘Ordinary visa’ (Employment Visa or E-Visa) which costs US$35.
These procedures were accurate at the time of writing, but please check for updates to ensure that you have the most up-to-date information.
To be sure of your own visa requirements, please visit the Cambodian travel advice page from your own government before leaving your country. There is also the option to apply for your visa before you arrive in Cambodia. Visit https://www.evisa.gov.kh/ if you would like to take advantage of this option.
